Privacy notice for Video Quotes
Last updated 1 November 2026. This notice explains, in plain English, what information Video Quotes uses, why, who helps us, and your rights.
Who we are
Video Quotes is run by Digi Guru. Our address is 10 Neptune Court, Blackpool FY4 5LZ. For anything about your information, email info@digi-guru.co.uk or call 01253 364321.
Your photos and business details
When you set up your kit, you give us your logo, your website, four photos of you (unless you choose an AI engineer), photos of your van, your mascot if you have one, and a local landmark. We use these only to build your animated characters and scenes for your videos.
- We ask for your permission before using photos of you, with a tick box on the set-up page.
- We will not use your photos or characters in our own marketing unless you agree first.
Your customers' details
For each video you give us your customer's first name, the area they live in, and the options and prices you quoted. We use them only to make that customer's video.
- You send the video link to your customer yourself, so we don't need their phone number, email or full address.
- You decide whose details to send us. We handle them on your behalf and only on your instructions.
- We never contact your customers, sell their details or use them for our own marketing.
When a customer watches a video
Each video is sent as a link. When it is opened we record when it was opened, how much was watched, whether it was watched again and whether the customer pressed "Accept my quote", so we can show you who to call first. We don't use advertising cookies on video links.
Who helps us
We use a small number of service providers to make and deliver the videos:
- Higgsfield creates the animated characters and scenes from your photos.
- ElevenLabs creates the voiceover. The script includes your customer's first name and the prices you quoted.
- Vercel hosts these pages and the video links.
- Supabase will store your kit files, in its London region.
- Resend will send our emails to you, such as "your characters are ready to approve".
Some of these providers process information outside the UK, for example in the United States.
How long we keep it
- Your customers' details: 12 months after their video is made, then deleted. You can ask us to delete a customer's details sooner at any time.
- Your photos and kit: for as long as you use Video Quotes, then deleted within 30 days of your subscription ending.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to how we use it. Your customers can do the same, through you or by contacting us directly. Email info@digi-guru.co.uk and we'll reply within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this notice
If we change how we use information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
